NAU SALGADOS PALACE

The magnificence of a palace, the luxury of a service with five stars on its lapel, the quality of one of the largest congress centres of the Iberian Peninsula, the exuberance of a certain tropicalism, the magic of the salty sea breeze, the purity of a natural sanctuary, the holistic wisdom of a treatment centre, the peace of a Spa like few others in the Algarve. The nouns are in line at Salgados Palace. Magnificence, luxury, quality, exuberance, magic, purity, wisdom and peace. All are interwoven harmoniously at this NAU hotel next to Salgados Beach.
A palace for leisure and work, with all the facilities, efficiency of service and beauty in visits. Salgados Palace, at Herdade dos Salgados, is adapted to any type of stay. Large scale swimming pools and tropical look for those coming on holiday; one of the largest congress centres for those coming for business purposes. Salgados Beach a dozen steps away, Albufeira a few minutes by car.

In the summer, from June to September, the All Inclusive Premium regime is offered – a new Salgados Summer Club concept to make your holidays even more complete and unforgettable.

For less salty and more temperate swims, there are four round swimming pools, of a large size, which, viewed from above, appear to look back at us, deeply into our eyes. They transport us to a tropical paradise, surrounded by palm trees, without requiring us to leave the place, this special place in southern Portugal. In the summer, massages are offered in a tent raised in the gardens, close to the swimming pools, with the sound of the waves as a backdrop. Or drinks can be taken at the Sunset Bar while the sun sets over Salgados Lagoon, slipping behind the Atlantic. Here or at one of the other two bars of the hotel. To accompany a drink, choices can vary among two restaurants: Moonlight à la carte and the All in One buffet. Emphasis is given to Portuguese gastronomy, but international notes are always included in the menus, such as hamburgers, pasta and pizzas.

This NAU Hotel also has the largest Congress Centre of Portugal - the Congress Palace of the Algarve. With 41 meeting rooms and an auditorium for 1650 people, this centre hosts all types of events, meetings and shows. By descending a few floors, we are taken to the heavens. At Salgados Palace Spa the treatments of the prestigious brand Comfort Zone are dedicated to curing from inside outwards. The one thousand square metres of holistic philosophy offer massages for two, or simply an anti-stress massage which combines marine extracts and essential oils and relieves muscle tension, fatigue and stress, balancing the body and mind. There are six treatment rooms and others for Vichy and Scottish showers and Cromotherm sessions, as well as a gym, an animated indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath. The experienced therapists do the rest. And the rest can mean everything!

You can choose the type of Palace you want for yourself.

Our Location

Extensive sandy stretch, warm and crystalline water and a natural paradise right alongside. Salgados Beach is certainly special. Close to Albufeira, in the continuation of the sands of Praia Grande, east of Salgados Lagoon and at the end part of Ribeira de Espiche. Crossing the estuary zone of Ribeira de Espiche, which sporadically communicates with the sea, the Praia Grande nature path can be strolled along, where information is given on the flora and fauna of the dune fields and Salgados Lagoon. Salgados Beach is highly sought after due to these unusual features: a sandy stretch running along a coastal lagoon populated temporarily by migratory birds.

"Loved it!"

Travelled with family, in August 2016

This is a 5 star complex from NAU group and I have to say I was impressed:
1 - The facilities: fresh, very well kept, big rooms and with 4 fantastic pools (2 for kids and 1 one them with a Pirate boat and 6 mini sides to the pool);
2 - All inclusive food and very good for a buffet type. Been here a few days ago (completely full) and staff was always careful not to keep the food cold and the diversity was full, since I was 7 days in here and never repeated meals (only tuna pizza that was served 2 times, but come on...)
3 - Kids Club - Definitely was complete (activities, drawings, pool slide, etc), but agree with some reviews: mini disco should be more soon;
4 - Staff - all very available, but some lacked training (basic things like knowing schedules or serve other costumers, instead of waiting that the coffee machine ended the service). 5 - Train to the beach - very good idea, but the beach used (Galé beach) simply doesn't make any sense... The train drops you in the car park (ok, I know there's no other spot) and we have to walk almost 500m... Between waiting for the train and the walk to the beach, is preferable to walk directly for Salgados One last positive note: even on the check out day, the let us use the facilities, the all inclusive drinks and meals until we're gone (6pm). This was a high one for me. Keep up the good job and tweak all the things your costumers review, and I'm sure there will be few hotels in this area, with this price range, that can compete with yours!
